Lithium batteries for electric forklifts

A forklift battery is part of the truck’s electrical and mechanical system. Replacing an existing battery with lithium requires a compatibility review, including the truck’s voltage, battery compartment, connectors and minimum battery weight.

Start with the truck’s requirements

Share the forklift make, model and nameplate information, plus the existing battery and charger details. We’ll discuss operating hours and charging opportunities alongside fit and weight requirements. A lithium battery should not be treated as a universal drop-in replacement.

Can I use my existing forklift charger?

Charger compatibility must be checked for the specific battery. Send the charger make, model and ratings so the charging requirements can be reviewed with the battery selection.
